| As a
child, I was always making things, but I did not discover clay until my
20’s when adult education classes offered a welcome relief from
a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Ever since then I have been hooked.
Starting a family offered the opportunity to pursue this further and in
2005 I completed parts I and II of the City and Guilds diploma course
in Ceramics.
In the past I have enjoyed mostly hand-building and have experimented with smoke-fired and burnished ware. I like pattern and texture, take inspiration from nature and the sea and more recently have explored different methods of making decorative tiles. For enquires
